There were eight of us enjoy the Cunard Queen Mary 2, 4D Presidents sailing weekend to the Bahamas for 15-19 February. Here is the list of favorite things: 1. Britannia Restaurant is the main dining room where most passengers enjoy their meals. This beautiful multi-level offering a large room service, selection and presentation. In addition, Cunard does a great job with the variety of offerings. 2. Cabin Stewards - Excellent and friendly service, including the reorganization of clothing along with the maintenance of the cabin and the bathroom very clean. 3. Buffet - Convenient with a wide selection available when you are, and the crew of the buses waiting your table while you're still seated. 4. Offer Service to Princess Cays (Private Island) - very efficient service back and forth. 5. Britannia guest room toiletries are of superior quality. Actually the experience. 6 raised. Britannia bathrooms are well established and a reasonable size. 7. Area - This ship has so much public space. The QM2 is designed for long journeys, and hence, provides a huge public space to sit, chat, play, etc. The hallways and public areas are very broad. You can always find room to sit alone or in groups. The upper deck is huge with minimal obstructions, only wide open spaces. 8. Speed, but it took a while to realize that this trip from New York to the Bahamas, would be almost impossible in most other ships. The QM2's propulsion system is quite unique, with four propellers and rudder NO! 9. The Queen's Room; this room, per se should be mentioned. The flamboyant Queen's Room focuses like a dance on the night of the famous Cunard dance events. During the day, high tea is offered in conjunction with bingo. 10. The QM2 has a very non-commercial environment. Cunard makes the future cruise sales, shopping, dining responsible, art auctions, etc. , but does not advertise non-stop! There is a deliberate lack of constant ads on the Palestinian Authority and the room leaflets urging you to spend your money. Much of spending money options are available if you wish to use these services. In addition, the production shows are not interrupted with commercials. This whole environment makes it more of an elegant cruise experience. 10. 5 conferences; This trip included a PhD speaking on the Bermuda Triangle and global climate change; Cunard caters to a clientele that enjoys enrichment activities and the intellectual stimulus was most welcome.
