I am not suggesting that it is time to begin the landing of this great journey called life. But the world is a great place to which I am passing along my first six cruise itineraries, just in case you want to make sure not to lose the highlights. 1. The Greek islands / TurkeySpectacular beauty and world-renowned antiquities abound in a week's cruise to Greece and Turkey. Starting from Kusadasi, Turkey, is a short trip to the 2000-year old city of Ephesus, where a two-storey former library at the end of the main artery, still marked with trolley tracks. Santorini is my selection for the most spectacular Greek island. You can navigate the bay - a huge volcanic crater - then ascend 900 feet to the streets of Thira, a small town in terraces overlooking the Capri-blue Mediterranean. Mykonos, once a sleepy village, is now "three chic" with Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Chanel among shops. 2. The Baltic BalticThe. Each port in this diverse region called the Baltic has been full of history, tradition and pride. From the opulent palaces of Zara in St. Petersburg to Stockholm impressive port and the historic area on foot and spectacular Copenhagen Tivoli Gardens, cruise offered some regions as diverse treasures. 3. AntarcticaMy trip to Antarctica is the best cruise my life, a journey to a place unlike any other on earth. Sailing through the dangerous Drake Passage, we arrived at a magical region of icebergs, a mile wide, and every day we saw whales, elephant seals, albatrosses and millions of penguins. Tours of zodiacs took us to land penguin rookeries of 300000 birds. Among the passengers were scientists and experts that enriches our experience. 4. AsiaFew are the exotic locales such as Asia, with its bustling modern cities like Hong Kong and Singapore, their colorful markets, ancient temples and stunning scenery. The most popular cruise visit Vietnam, Thailand, Burma and Malaysia, all with various ports ranging from occupied cities to bucolic rural settings. Personally, I like to walk around the cities of Asia to savor its uniqueness, although most passengers opt for a guided tour when they do not speak the local language. 5. HawaiiWhat he discovered a week's cruise, sailing round trip from Honolulu, is a tropical paradise with more natural beauty and diversity of what I had never dreamed. Each island is distinctive, and my hand in activities ranging from land go to the top of the world's largest volcano to a high-speed zodiac walk along the coast napali Kauai, with hundreds of dolphins jumping around us to navigating in caves and marveled at the sheer cliffs that line this part of island. 6. The Panama CanalThe "path between the seas" is regarded as one of the biggest engineering projects ever undertaken. The 48-mile canal, which opened in 1914, is home to 40 ships per day ranging from private yachts to large container ships. Although the entire trip channel between the Caribbean and Mexico is 14 days, you can also opt for a ten or 11-night cruise sailing round trip from Florida to Princess and Royal Caribbean.
